Planet Bike Dominates Near and Far   by mark on Oct 05, 2009

The Planet Bike cyclocross team is wasting no time showing it's massive power. Katie Compton traveled to Italy for round one of the World Cup and rode away from the field just two laps into the race! This continues her unbeaten season and she will wear the World Cup leaders jersey for the first time in her career at round two in Nommay, France. Jonathan Page stayed stateside for an extra week to race the Great Brewer's GP of Gloucester. JP capitalized on the muddy conditions to take the win on Saturday. Sunday he did his best to match the result, coming in second after being out-teamed 3-1 by his competitors.
In the local Wisconsin series, both James LaLonde and Kristin Wentworth grabbed the top spot on the podium with strong efforts in the series opening event. As always, you can get the latest scoop on the Planet Bike cyclocross team here.
