Free Bikes 4 Kids Madison Receives Community Grant

The Madison Community Foundation has recently announced their Mad About Bikes community grants. These grants celebrate Madison’s bicycle culture and focus on increasing bicycle access for everyone in the community. Free Bikes 4 Kids Madison has been awarded a portion of this years grant that will see the program impact lives of more kids in 2018. See the official press release here.

Last year Planet Bike donated 70 locks and volunteered at the final giveaway which happened in March of 2017. This year we are excited to be volunteering more time in refurbishing bikes and at the final giveaway.

Area residents can donate gently used bikes to Free Bikes 4 Kids Madison Saturday January 13, 2018 at the following SSM Health Dean Medical Group locations from 9am -1pm:

East – 1821 S. Stoughton Rd., Madison
West – 752 N High Point Rd., Madison
Fish Hatchery – 1313 Fish Hatchery Rd., Madison
Oregon – 753 N. Main St. Oregon
Waunakee – 1300 S. Century Ave., Waunakee
Sun Prairie – 10 Tower Dr., Sun Prairie
SSM Wisconsin Regional Office – 1818 W. Beltline Hwy., Madison
