Meet Our Updated Fall and Winter Cycling Glove Collection

Posted on Nov 11th 2022 | news, product,

We have made technical refinements to improve the performance of the cool weather Aquilo half-lobster and the winter weight Borealis gloves. These gloves will meet the challenge of any bicycle adventure whether its fall, winter or spring.

Aquilo Half-Lobster Cool Weather Cycling Gloves

Bicycling in cooler weather is a joy and that’s why Planet Bike continues to refine the Aquilo cycling gloves. 4-way stretch windproof fabric covers the back of the hand to provide a close and comfortable fit that takes the bite out of the wind on blustery rides. The interior is lined with a warm and comfortable brushed fleece lining. The synthetic leather palm provides great handlebar feel and has reinforced zones for durability and a 2mm gel pad at the base of the palm for comfort.

Touch-screen compatible pads on the thumb, middle and index fingers provide easy access to a smartphone. The extended cuff covers the wrist and the adjustable hook and loop closure let cyclists personalize the fit and seal out the cold. Other features include a nose wipe on the thumb and index finger and reflective piping on the back of the hand. They’re lightweight, slim-fitting and surprisingly warm. They’re a perfect choice for spring and fall rides.

The Aquilo gloves retail for $34.99

Borealis Half-Lobster Cold Weather Cycling Gloves

Planet Bike believes that bicycling fun shouldn’t go into hibernation when the mercury drops. The improved Borealis cycling gloves are designed to meet the specific needs of cold weather riding. The half-lobster construction has an extra warm and comfortable fleece lining, covered by a wind and water-resistant outer shell that protects hands from the punishing wind, cold, and snow. The waterproof synthetic serino palm has reinforced zones for durability and a tacky grip that creates a positive point of contact with bars and when shifting and braking.

Touch-screen compatible pads on the thumb and index finger let cyclists access their smartphone without de-gloving. The full neoprene cuff and adjustable hook and loop closure allow for a personalized fit to seal out the cold. Additionally, a nose wipe on the thumb, reflective piping on the back of the hand and wintry good looks create a super warm cycling glove that’s not bulky. All of these technical specs create a robust glove that’s perfect for pedaling through frosty winter weather.

The Borealis gloves retail for $39.99
