Team Planet Bike’s 17 year old cross sensation Kaitlin Antonneau has been competing in Elite UCI events all season and her strong results are starting to get noticed. Cyclocross Magazine recently interviewed Kaitie about how her season has been going. Read the article here.

This week the UCI point rankings were updated and the Planet Bike women have all four of their Elite riders in the top 50. Katie Compton still reigns supreme in 1st with Kristin 39th, Linda 40th, and Kaitlin 43rd. Kaitlin is the only rider under the age of 20 in the top 50. Way to go ladies!

On the mens side Jonathan Page is ranked 22nd, Mark LaLonde 75th, Tristan Schouten 87th, and James LaLonde 175th.

The ladies took full advantage of their standings last weekend at the final round of the USGP of Cyclocross in Portland, OR. The mild temps and fast course played out well for the team on Saturday as Linda rode to an 8th place finish with Kaitie and Kristin not far behind in 11th and 13th.

The weather switch was flipped over night and racers were greeted by cold winds and a frozen/mud strewn course. However, the results kept coming. Linda again rode to a strong 9th place finish with Kaitie in 12th and Kristin in 17th.

Across the Atlantic, PB team member Jonathan Page excelled in the mud of Igorre, Spain powering to an impressive 8th place finish in round 5 of the World Cup. JP’s best world cup finish this year proves he’s on form for the upcoming nationals next weekend in Bend, OR. Look for the Planet Bike team to be out in full force fighting for the podium!
